Zain Bahrain to offer free WiFi at airport

Zain Bahrain has signed an agreement with Bahrain Airport Company to provide free WiFi hotspots at Bahrain International Airport.
Through Zain's WiFi hotspots, travellers and visitors to the Bahrain International Airport will be able to access high speed Internet connectivity for free, offering travellers the convenience of staying connected without incurring extra charges, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
“We live in a world where accessing the Internet has become a daily necessity and we are pleased to launch free WiFi hotspots at Bahrain Inter-national Airport,” said Zain Bahrain enterprise and broadband products and services manager Mohammed Al Alawi.
“Our partnership with Bahrain Airport Company fits perfectly with our commitment to enhance the telecommunications sector in the kingdom and add value to the community.
“Today, we have developed into a successful operator offering a full spectrum of services including Smart Enterprise Connectivity solutions,” Al Alawi added.
“In keeping with our mission to manage Bahrain International Airport as a friendly and efficient airport for a proud country, we strive to provide service excellence to our passengers,” Bahrain Airport Company (BAC) vice-president of information, communications and technology Najwa Abdul Rahim said.
“Our partnership with Zain Bahrain is a valuable addition to passengers' experience.”
Zain Bahrain's free WiFi service at the airport follows the recent launch of the operator's newest network offering the latest 4G LTE technology, HD Voice and an enhanced overall customer experience.
