SALE International backs SME growth, Omanisation

MUSCAT, December 24, 2014

SALE International Oman, a leading telecom distributor in the Sultanate, continues to promote the growth of small and medium enterprises (SME) while maintaining 70 per cent Omanisation.

The company, which was recently appointed as single distributor for Omantel prepaid products, boasts the largest Omani direct sales force in telecom distribution in addition to the largest e-recharge network, said a statement.

Asad Al Zuwaidi, wholesale senior manager of SALE International, said: “At SALE International, in addition to creating a wide network of sales point, we are dedicated to accelerating the nation’s development by supporting SMEs that form the backbone of the country’s economy.”

SALE International has stabilised the telecom recharge business sector in Oman building mutually-beneficial business relationships with SMEs and empowering them to increase the availability of Omantel’s recharge for consumers, said the statement.

The firm acts as a distribution partner for Omantel and the operators hosted on its network ensuring full coverage through six strategically located distribution centres, it said.

The success of SALE International’s business model is attributed to its careful selection of wholesalers and efficient direct sales team operating out of the distribution centres, it added. - TradeArabia News Service
