Ericsson names new executive VP for Mideast

DUBAI, January 28, 2015

Ericsson has appointed Tarek Saadi as the executive vice president and head of sales for Ericsson in the Middle East region.

In his new role, Saadi will oversee the company’s sales engagement throughout the Middle East, bringing the latest innovation of Ericsson’s portfolio to our customers across the region while supporting them to evolve throughout their transformation towards the Networked Society.

Rafiah Ibrahim, president of Ericsson Middle East region, said: "Tarek Saadi brings significant experience and strong business acumen as the region is transforming towards the Networked Society. We recognise the value of Ericsson's thought leadership and innovation and are excited to bring that even closer to our customers.”  

Saadi is not new to Ericsson in the region and had previously held the position of president, Ericsson North Middle East within the region, to which he was appointed in 2010. Saadi has more than 19 years of experience with Ericsson where he held multiple positions in sales and business development in a number of Ericsson offices across the globe.   - TradeArabia News Service
