Ericsson appoints new industry and society head in ME

DUBAI, February 18, 2015

Ericsson, a leader in communications technology and services, has appointed Rutger Reman as the head of industry and society for its Middle East operations.

The ‘Industry and Society’ is a newly-established division within Ericsson in the Middle East, created to drive the company’s business growth and expand its market share in the region, said a statement.

As part of his new role, Reman will be responsible for optimising the division’s overall performance, exploring new business in the energy and utilities, public safety and security, intelligent transport systems, and smart cities market segments, it said.

Reman comes with an extensive international experience working with Ericsson across key departments, including project management, product management, operations, marketing and sales.
