UAE-based telecommunications provider du has joined hands with Uber, the smartphone technology company, to provide its premium customers with a series of special offers and promotions.

The collaboration agreement was signed by Fahad Al Hassawi, chief commercial officer of du and Jean-Pierre Mondalek, general manager of Uber (UAE), said a statement from the company.

Announcing the deal, Al Hassawi said: “In an age where seamless connectivity has become the norm for our customers, we continue to surprise and delight them by pioneering collaborations that consistently add value to their lives.”

Mondalek said: “As consumers demand more from their personal technology applications, it is important for organisations in this space to work together so that we are able to provide more innovative offerings.”
