DUBAI, September 29, 2015

Pacific Controls Cloud Services (PCCS), a leading provider of IT as a Service (ITaaS) and a full range of cloud solutions, has achieved VMware Horizon DaaS Powered status.

It will help enable its customers to rapidly deploy desktops and applications as a fully managed cloud solution - accessible from any device, from anywhere, at an affordable price, said a statement.

As a member of the VMware vCloud Air Network Program, PCCS will be able to offer cloud-hosted virtual desktops and applications, it said.

Leveraging Horizon DaaS Bundle of VMWare, PCCS will deliver a full windows desktop and applications from its cloud for access by any device, from anywhere.

The solution can be offered in multiple editions, based on customer requirements: VDI Edition or Remote Desktop Session Host (RDSH) Edition.

Dilip Rahulan, executive chairman, said: “PCCS has always focused on bringing unique and high value solutions and services to its customers to help them derive productivity, reduce costs and enhance their competitiveness.

“We are a pioneering provider of cloud solutions in the Middle East, with a cloud infrastructure that is second to none. Our partnership with VMware is yet another step in this direction.”

With VMware Horizon DaaS Solution, PCCS will be able to offer customers unprecedented benefits in the way desktop services are deployed, managed and used, said the statement.

This service will help customers enjoy premium user experience, enhance efficiencies, reduce costs, attain scalability and agility – all under a predictable monthly cost model, it said.

As a Horizon DaaS provider, PCCS can now provide users a unified platform for its customers, with dedicated virtual desktops and completely secure separation across five levels: meta-data, storage, networking, directory services and compute. it added. - TradeArabia News Service
