Etisalat Group, a leading telecommunications operator in Middle East, Africa and Asia, has set a new benchmark for the industry by being shortlisted in 11 categories in this year's Global Mobile Awards (The Glomos).

The range of nominations reflects the leading role Etisalat is playing in the global telecommunications industry and rewards the group's focus on innovation, the company said.

Etisalat has been nominated for the key categories of: Best Mobile Cloud Service or App; Best Mobile Innovation for Emerging Markets; and Best Mobile Innovation for Health.

Etisalat Group achieved this impressive record despite a record number of applicants for this year's awards.
