Microsoft to highlight analytics at Big Data Show

Microsoft partnered with Business Intelligence Analytics and Hackathon to highlight big data analytics and solutions at the Big Data show, taking place on March 29 and 30 at the Dubai World Trade Center.
With the digital universe growing every two years, and with machine generated data expanding from 11 per cent in 2005 to over 40 per cent in 2020, greater insights can be accessed by converting raw unstructured data into meaningful intelligent actions, according to Microsoft.
The Big Data Show will have local, regional and international exhibitors shedding light on converting unfiltered data into structured data and will feature a host of on-site demonstrations at the Microsoft stand around IoT Remote Monitoring, Emotion Recognition and Social Analytics solutions.
Microsoft’s participation at the Big Data Show will also highlight the role of Microsoft SQL Server 2016 as a business analytics and data management platform that combines unique cloud capabilities for building transformative apps and represents a giant step forward for Microsoft in the history of databases.
Interactive sessions at the Big Data show will provide an excellent opportunity for delegates to meet some of the world’s leading big data and analytical experts to deliberate on operational challenges and share unparalleled industry knowledge.
Microsoft, as this year’s exclusive sponsor for the Hackathon will bring together the brightest minds in coding, programming and designing and will provide a platform for honing and advancing skills to innovative developers.
Opportunities will be provided for building apps on smart living which will then presented in front of a panel of judges, a statement said.
