Fujitsu opens new office in Qatar

DOHA, May 31, 2016

Fujitsu, a global IT major, has strengthened its commitment to Qatar with the opening a new office in the country.

Building on more than 15 years of commitment to the Qatari market, and a double-digit growth rate for the past five years, the inauguration is the natural next step for the leading global provider of information technology and services, which operates in offices across the Middle East.

The new office will be instrumental in launching innovative products and services into the Qatari market, catering to the growing client base within the country, the company said.

Fujitsu has seen a huge demand for its IT infrastructure and ERP application services within the country, and combined with Qatar’s far-reaching urbanisation plans, prominent clients such as Qatar Petroleum, Oryx GTI, Nakilat, Qatari Diar and Hassad Food will benefit from Fujitsu’s commitment to servicing the region with the new office, it said.

Fujitsu Middle East’s vice-president and managing director, Farid Al-Sabbagh, said: “We have long-term plans for Qatar. Our office in Doha will have highly skilled professionals to ensure the best service for our clients.” - TradeArabia News Service
