RiskIQ ropes in Precise Tech as ME distributor

SAN FRANCISCO, June 19, 2018

RiskIQ, a leader in external threat management, has announced that it has signed up Precise Technologies as their distributor in the Middle East, Turkey and Africa (META) market, excluding South Africa.

Based in San Francisco, RiskIQ is a major provider of the most comprehensive discovery, intelligence, and mitigation of threats associated with an organization’s digital presence.

Precise Technologies is a value-added distributor (VAD) specializing in disruptive and emerging technologies in the areas of cyber security, information security, digital transformation and AI-based analytics. It covers Middle East, Turkey and Africa with local teams across the region to support its reseller channel.

RiskIQ’s solution offerings complement the current Precise Technologies portfolio by helping customers extend their security program to protect their digital presence across web, mobile and social channels.

Middle East digital markets are expanding at an overall compound annual growth rate of 12 per cent. With this growth comes an increase in the frequency and scope of cyberattacks, cybercrime, malware and digital espionage[1], leaving Middle East companies increasingly concerned about cyber threats to their organizations.

Precise Technologies and its partners are able to respond to these threats and help organizations defend their digital presence with RiskIQ’s leading External Threat Management platform.

"We are very excited to be partnering with RiskIQ as their VAD for the region”, said Ranjit Pillai, the co-founder and director at Precise Technologies.

"Our key enterprise partners are seeing strong interest from their customers for solutions that can address their external threat and digital security challenges. RiskIQ is unique in helping organizations identify and better protect what they own across web, mobile and social channels. RiskIQ can also quickly find where an organization’s brand is being used for nefarious purposes and get those assets blocked and taken down," he noted.

Fabian Libeau, the VP of Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), said: “Organizations today must focus on external cyber threats as much as they do on perimeter security.”

“Bringing visibility and management to the external attack surface is core to RiskIQ's solution and we are delighted to be able to expand our footprint in META with the help of a specialized and focused VAD such as Precise Technologies and its strong partner network,” he added.-TradeArabia News Service
