Zain Bahrain hosts Nasser Institute students

Zain Bahrain, a leading telecommunications provider in the kingdom, hosted nine students from Nasser Vocational Training Institute for a one-week educational and work experience programme.
 
The 11th grade students from Nasser Vocational Training Institute got first-hand experience of the operator’s vibrant internal culture by working within various departments including the Call Center, Retail, Marketing, Technology, and others, said a statement from Zain Bahrain. 
 
They received an overview of mobile telecommunications technology, visited the switching center, and participated in several educational workshops, including soft skills and career development seminars. 
 
The students also received Certificates of Attendance which were presented by Zain Bahrain Human Resources which comes under Zain FUN program (Future University Network). 
 
The FUN is a Youth Development Program designed to give university students the opportunity to experience the real-work experience and explore their capabilities while studying at their universities.
 
"The aim of FUN program is to provide students with a rewarding working experience that will prepare them for their professional career," remarked Mohammed Isa, Employee Relations and Youth Development Manager, at Zain Bahrain. 
 
"Zain Bahrain strongly believe in developing Bahraini talents and such practical training in a real-life environment will enhance their educational achievements and career choices," stated Isa. 
 
Zain Bahrain is eager to stimulate young minds and the aim for the educational tour is to give students information directly from the source, so that they can learn in depth about the Corporate World and Telecom Sector in particular, he added.-TradeArabia News Service
