Ericsson, a leading communications service provider, has appointed Lucky La Riccia as its head of digital services for Middle East and Africa (MEA) region.

In his new role, La Riccia will be driving business growth and capturing market opportunities within MEA including Turkey in the digital transformation and cloud domain, said a statement from the company.

He started his career with Ericsson in 2004, taking up several leadership positions across the digital services portfolio within Asia Pacific and India in the technology areas of operations support system (OSS), business support system (BSS), service layer and multimedia, it stated.

La Riccia strengths build upon a strong and broad technology understanding, extensive experience in delivering complex technology and business transformation programmes and the virtualisation of telecom operator solutions across multiple continents.
