HPE signs partnership agreement with UAE’s Moro

UAE, October 20, 2019

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), a global technology leader has signed an agreement to become a preferred digital transformation partner to Moro, one of the UAE’s leading digital service providers.

The memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the parties states that the two companies will collaborate to draw up an innovation roadmap for government and enterprises in the UAE to transition from traditional technology platforms to futuristic services, said a statement from the company.

Moro also joins the HPE Partner Ready Service Provider program as a Gold partner for the UAE, it said.

Moro will work with HPE to launch cloud services for mission critical applications and business continuity services for customers in UAE that will be hosted in Moro’s state of the art data centre.

Moro will join Cloud28+, HPE’s open community of cloud service providers, ISVs and systems integrators and the new cloud services will be featured in the Cloud28+ service catalogue.

HPE and Moro will work together with a joint go-to-market approach. Utilising HPE Pointnext hybrid cloud strategies and consulting services, Moro customers can benefit from HPE Right Mix Advisor, an industry-first cloud migration offering.

This solution collects millions of data points from a customer’s IT landscape and enables HPE Pointnext experts to provide an objective, data-driven recommendation of the right workload placement strategy and a phased plan to get there.

Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, managing director and CEO of Dewa and chairman of Moro, stressed the need to join forces to develop and upgrade specialised data centres, an objective of which Moro, is working towards.

“We at Moro are making every effort to adopt cutting-edge solutions and technologies in order to realize and keep pace with the vision of our wise leadership and to provide easily accessible smart services,” he said.

“As such, we are working to strengthen the foundations of innovation and creativity in order to enhance the UAE and Dubai’s position as incubator for fast growing digital companies and sustainably responsible businesses,” he added.

Wolfgang Egger, managing director, Middle East at HPE, said: “Our company is pleased to partner with Moro to help government and enterprises in the UAE transition to next generation IT systems of the future.”

“By working with our HPE Pointnext experts, customers will be able to make the right decisions on moving to Moro’s hybrid cloud and next generation services,” he added. – TradeArabia News Service
