Bahrain set to launch arbitration chamber

Bahrain will formally launch a chamber of dispute resolution on Monday (January 11), becoming the first country in the world to establish an arbitration “free zone” and introduce the concept of mandatory arbitration.

The Bahrain Chamber of Dispute Resolution, a partnership between Bahrain’s Ministry of Justice and the American Arbitration Association, the world’s leading provider of conflict management and dispute resolution services, will be known formally as the BCDR-AAA.

More information the chamber will be released at the launch press conference on Monday.
