Bahrain’s e-Govt Authority honoured in Kuwait

Bahrain's e-Government Authority has been honoured for its contributions to information, communication and technology fields during an awards ceremony in Kuwait.

It took place during the 18th Waqfi Forum, which was organised by Awqaf Public Foundation, Kuwait, under the patronage of Crown Prince Shaikh Nawaf bin Ahmed Al Sabah.

It was held under the slogan Waqf and Technology ... Towards New Horizons.

Kuwait's Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Minister Jamal Al Shehab presented a shield to e-Government Authority chief executive officer Mohammad Al Qaed.

The authority was honoured for its efforts in spreading a culture of excellence in ICT within Bahrain and across the region through many projects in ICT and e-Government fields. – TradeArabia News Service
