Saudi jails women's protest organiser

An organizer of women’s protest campaigns in Saudi Arabia has been sentenced to six years in prison by a Riyadh court, a report said.

The court found the person guilty of taking part in various banned activities including sit-ins, demonstrations and public gatherings. The sentence included a six-year travel ban, the Arab News report said.
