The Government of Switzerland and VFS Global introduced visa application services for Switzerland visas in Manama on 8 April 2014.

The new initiative is aimed at offering enhanced services, facilities and benefits to Swiss visa applicants in Bahrain.

The operation centre for Switzerland in Manama was recently inaugurated by Etienne Thévoz, the Swiss Ambassador to Bahrain and Kuwait.

The Switzerland Visa Application Centre is centrally located at the Diplomatic Commercial Office Towers (18th floor), Diplomatic Area.

This centre also serves the Government of Spain.
