Watch for charity drive again

DUBAI, April 2, 2018

1915 by Seddiqi & Sons – the one-stop destination for the latest trends in watch fashion, jewellery pieces and accessories – brings back its popular #WatchInWatchOut campaign this month.
 
In its third year, the initiative allows customers to donate any old watch to charity at participating 1915 by Seddiqi & Sons stores across the UAE and receive 50 per cent discount on brand new watches in return for their kind gesture. 
 
This campaign, from April 5 to 7, promotes and instills a culture of giving amongst residents, enhancing the spirit of the Year of Zayed 2018, the company says.  
 
The #WatchInWatchOut campaign has been incredibly successful since its introduction, with over 2,100 watches donated to The Red Crescent as a result of the initiative last year. 
 
Mohammed Abdulmagied Seddiqi, chief commercial officer, Seddiqi Holding, said: “With this campaign, 1915 by Seddiqi & Sons aims to give back to the community and encourage residents to contribute positively to society. The 50 per cent discount offered to participants serves as a token of appreciation for their act of generosity, and we hope to see more people take part in this great initiative this year.” 
 
Brands participating in the initiative include: Bomberg; Daniel Wellington; Emporio Armani; Emporio Armani Swiss; Ferre Milano; Fossil; Kate Spade; Micheal Kors; Movado; Movado Bold; Movado Edge; Victorinox; West End Watches and Henry London.
