The 2008-09 edition of The Body Bahrain, which offers hundreds of “buy-one-get-one-free” incentives, has been released.

The Body Bahrain provides 2-for-1 offers to the best spas, beauty, hair and nail salons and fitness centres across the Kingdom. 

The beauty and pleasure voucher book is a sister publication of the dining voucher book The Entertainer, which was launched in 2001 in the UAE and is now also published in Bahrain.

“We had an excellent response to the first edition from both men and women who enjoy being pampered, feeling good and staying healthy,” says Cherryl Chisholm, operations manager at The Entertainer Bahrain.

“Now in the second edition, The Body Bahrain continues to give valuable savings off the full price for beauty, spa or fitness treatments, including yoga, kick-boxing and Pilates. Everyone, from individuals to corporate clients and families to tourists, will find something that will appeal to them,” she said.
 
The easy-to-use book is divided into three sections: Superior Spas; Beauty, Hair & Nails; and Fitness.

The Spa section features offers on well-being massages; foot and leg massages; aromatherapy; Thai massages; vitamin facials; hot stone therapy; and reflexology.
The Beauty, Hair & Nails section, which includes a dedicated Men’s section, has vouchers for manicures and pedicures; facials; ayurvedic and herbal massages; evening make-up; acrylic refills; paraffin treatments; Moroccan baths; Tropez tans, detoxification and rejuvenation; colon hydrotherapy; wedding programmes for brides and grooms; re-bonding, cellulite, and acne and pore treatments; body detoxification; highlights; and haircuts for girls and boys.

The Fitness section, meanwhile, features kickboxing and taekwondo lessons; one-month karate memberships; yoga classes; one-day gym passes;  aerobics classes; Power Plate sessions; fitness assessments; one-day camp classes; spinning classes; Pilates; Nia classes; Bosu Balance training; and Mat Science.

When using one of 279 The Body vouchers, the customer pays full price for the first treatment; and the voucher will then be signed or stamped for a second complimentary treatment or visit.

Alternatively, users can book a treatment with a friend and share the cost.

Valid until March 31, 2009, the vouchers can be used anytime except over the following days: Eid Al Fitr and Eid Al Adha; Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day; Valentine’s Day; and Mother’s and Father’s Day.

Also, vouchers are not valid on any other promotional offers from participating outlets.
As many as 70 outlets are participating in this value-for-money book, which is priced at BD15, and offers as much as BD2,500 worth of free vouchers.

The Body Bahrain is available in Jashanmal Bookshops, Al Hilal Bookshops, Al Jazira, Jawad Cold Stores, 24 hours, Midway Supermarket, Geant Hypermarket, Al Meena Supermarket, Nasser Shopping Centres and other leading outlets.
