More than 9,000 visitors are expected at the third Abat exhibition to be held from August 1 to 3 at the Bahrain International Exhibitions and Convention Centre.

It will be held under the patronage of Princess Sahab bint Abdulla bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

A poll showed 76 per cent of young women expressed admiration of the exhibition and expressed willingness to attend the event, said Midpoint Company chairwoman Shaikha Noora bint Khalifa Al Khalifa at a Press conference at Shaikh Isa Cultural Centre yesterday.

Sixty-five local fashion houses have decided to take part in the event, but organisers are aiming to include 140 firms, she said. Registration will be open 10 days before the start of the event. – TradeArabia News Service
