Toyota dealer launches 'Dream Car' art contest

Manama, January 29, 2014

Ebrahim K Kanoo, the sole distributor for Toyota and Lexus in Bahrain, has launched its "Toyota Dream Car Art Contest" inviting youngsters to compete and express their dreams in an artistic way.

Ayman Shehadeh, brand manager at Ebrahim K Kanoo said: “This contest is meant to inspire the young participants, motivate them to draw pictures of their dream cars, help them feel the joy and encourage them to have dreams of their own. That's why we're very excited to expand our promotion of the Dream Car Art Contest this year, and we are encouraging all the young talents in Bahrain to participate for a chance to win exciting prizes."

The contest duration will be from January 26 through February 16, and is categorised into three age groups; under 8 years, 8-11 years, and 12-15 years old. The drawings can be submitted at one of the EK Kanoo offices or showrooms.

The artworks will be judged by a local committee, where five winners will be selected from each category, for a chance to win iPad Air, iPad Air mini and cash prizes.

The first three winning artworks per category (nine winning artworks in total) will be sent to the Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) in Japan to participate in the “World Contest”, where excellent drawings from all over the world will compete. The award winners will be invited to Japan to attend the Global Award Ceremony in September.

TMC has been holding "Toyota Dream Car Art Contest" since 2004, to help children develop and express their creativity and showcase their artistic talents in drawing the car of their dreams. – TradeArabia News Service
