1,000 digital leaders to convene at Dubai summit

Dubai, June 1, 2014

More than 1,000 digital leaders will convene in Dubai for a leading digital business and entrepreneurship summit this week.
 
The ArabNet Digital Summit 2014 will run from June 3 to 5 at the Atlantis the Palm and will be held in partnership with Digital Media Services.
 
The summit will feature more than a hundred international and regional expert speakers discussing the latest development in digital business.
 
It will include 50 panel discussions, talks, and workshops, covering the trends and opportunities in the sector, including 3D printing, wearable technology, e-commerce and payments, branded content, and digital marketing.
 
Dave McClure, founding partner of 500 Startups, will deliver a keynote address about more than 20 years in Silicon Valley as a venture capitalist, after investing in over 250 companies and startups, and helping them build consumer and business services. 
 
Other keynote addresses will include Noura Al Kaabi, CEO of TwoFour54, who will discuss fostering a thriving entrepreneurship ecosystem and Osman Sultan, CEO of Du, who will highlight digital opportunities and strategies for innovation in the telecom sector.
 
Key panel discussions will include ‘What’s Hot in Web and Mobile’ featuring leading digital investors to discuss the hottest trends they’re seeing and investing in and the next big thing to look out for; and ‘Cross Border E-Commerce,’ which will explore lessons learned from the region and beyond.
 
It will also feature several focused talks by digital experts including Omar Soudodi, managing director of PayFort, who will reveal PayFort’s report on the state of payments in the Mena; the latest trends in 3D printing and the era of mass customization; and the transformative power of big data.
 
A C-level panel discussion on ‘The Future of the Agency,’ will explore the increasingly blurred lines between agencies and publishers, and the impact of programmatic buying on the advertising sector. 
 
It will also introduce the Ad+Tech Academy, a full track of workshops on digital, social, mobile, and video, to help agencies, brands and industry professionals develop their digital marketing capabilities. - TradeArabia News Service
