Impact BBDO wins 6 Cannes Lions awards

Impact BBDO, a Pan Arab advertising company, won six honours at the 2014 Cannes Lions Awards, a leading event that recognises creativity and effectiveness of resourceful communication.
The company was shortlisted for 32 campaigns for this year’s awards, while the significance of the company’s achievement has been highlighted by the fact that the network competed among 37,000 global entries, said a statement.
The wins included a Gold for the Impact BBDO Dubai for radio in the region and the first-ever Cannes Lion for Pakistan by BBDO Pakistan. The company also pocketed two Silvers and two Bronze awards.
Dani Richa, chairman and CEO of Impact BBDO Group Mena and Pakistan, said: “We did great. But our achievements have now also created a challenge for us to raise the bar during the coming year.
