Bahrain quiz show plans logo design contest
Manama, July 2, 2014
The Fourth Annual Bahrain Business Quiz Show, which will be held under the theme “Pioneers Challenge,” has announced a novel 'Logo Design Competition' to develop the show's new official logo.
The event is being organised by its founder FinMark Communications in co-ordination with BIBF, the main sponsor for the event, BDB Group, as strategic partner.
Announcing this at a press conference, Zahraa Taher, the managing director of FinMark Communications, said: "The design competition aims to encourage creative talent in the Kingdom to put forth their ideas and contribute to the quiz series, which is set to take place in November and December 2014 ahead of the Kingdom’s National Day celebrations."
"As in years past, the show aims to foster greater engagement between Bahrain’s business community and the public as well as to highlight the key companies and industry sectors, which have long made Bahrain a leading financial and business hub in the region," she noted.
Interested applicants can register online at The Annual Quiz Show “Pioneers Challenge” website www.annualquizshow.com starting from tomorrow (July 3 until August 8).
The quiz show aims not only to highlight Bahraini businesses but also to provide a platform for supporting and encouraging talented artists and designers under this year's theme of "Pioneers Challenge,” said Taher.
"Kicking off this year's activities is the design competition which gives a broad range of candidates the chance to take part, show their pioneering spirit and show case their creative and business skills," she added.
Four consecutive quiz nights will be held where four teams from the same industry will compete against each another in front of hundreds of viewers who will be watching the event live at a venue.
Industry nights will include Banking & Finance, Insurance, Industrial and General Business. The Grand Finale will see the four winning teams, representing their respective industries, compete for the top honour.
The general public will also get a chance to take part in the competition and use their knowledge of Bahraini business to win prizes at the shows, said the organisers.-TradeArabia News Service
