Modest dress must for women anchors: Saudi Shura

Saudi Arabia's Shura Council has passed a law that makes it mandatory for women TV anchors working in the kingdom to wear modest dress, a report said.
The law, once passed by the cabinet, will apply to all women media workers in the kingdom, including those of MBC and Rotana, Ahmed Al-Zailaee, chairman of the media committee at the council, was quoted as saying by Arab News.
Earlier, the kingdom’s national television stations had asked its women anchors to wear the traditional abaya.
