Linesight announces senior management hire

DUBAI, January 14, 2018

Leading construction consultancy Linesight (formerly known as Bruce Shaw) which has a major presence in the region through its offices in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and the UAE, has appointed Rhonda Curliss as the new chief communications officer (CCO).

Based in London, Curliss will be responsible for the development of Linesight’s global communications strategy while also working closely with Michael Riordan, the managing director UK, on the growth and positioning of the company’s London and Manchester operations, said a statement from the company.

Curliss has over 15 years’ experience working in global strategic operations, communications, business development and key account management within the property and construction industry.

Prior to joining Linesight, Curliss worked for global architecture firm HLW where she was principal of global communications and co-managing director of its Los Angeles office, said the statement.

Linesight is rapidly expanding its business globally and has a strategic imperative to respond to the needs of its local and multinational clients in the UK market. It is involved in a number of exciting complex construction projects across the commercial, hospitality and residential sectors there.

Welcoming Curliss into the fold, Group CEO Gerry Campbell said: "Her appointment is a strategic addition to our management team as we continue to build on successes across multiple industry sectors in a variety of regions globally."

"With a background in global architecture and interior design, Rhonda brings a unique perspective to Linesight and compliments our approach of working closely alongside our clients, their design teams and other consultants and partners to maximize value for our end users," he stated.

In the last year, Linesight has continued to build on its successes worldwide with 20 per cent growth across its regions and referral rates of over 90 per cent, he added.

Exceptional delivery is one of her core strengths, she was pivotal in leading the successful repositioning and growth of the HLW offices, with London and Los Angeles both seeing a growth of over 300 per cent during her tenure there, said the statement from the company.

On her new role, Curliss said: "My appointment sees Linesight combine global marketing, communications and sales under one leader for the first time."

"My role will ensure Linesight’s brand remains strong and consistent globally, providing one voice, which is as consistent as the consultancy services we provide," she added.-TradeArabia News Service
