Xstrike reopens to visitors tomorrow

DUBAI, July 8, 2020

Xstrike, located in the heart of Al Qouz, is gearing up to officially reopen its doors to players on July 9.

The entertainment hub was launched by “Immersive Experiences” in December 2019, a live combat experience that successfully bridges the gap between traditional paintball and laser-tag, now coming back bigger and better, with new and improved fields to guarantee an incredible experience for all players.

With the number one priority being the safety and health of the customers, the reopening comes following the application of extensive precautionary measures which include highlighted entry and exit points, sanitization tunnel and temperature check upon entry which is a key requirement for all players before entering the venue.

In addition, the team has taken all the necessary social distancing measures into account by placing floor stickers to help maintain safe distance, organising the seating arrangements in the café with no more than four people allowed on one table, reducing the capacity in the facility and undergoing the ongoing sanitization of the fields, the armory gear, all equipment and touch screens after each session.

Boasting a whopping 31,000-sq-ft, Xstrike consists of two playing fields that closely mimic Hollywood style movie sets including authentic military-themed Base Camp, a mystical “Post-Apocalyptic City” and an “Abandoned Subway”, all based on an interwoven narrative with life-like stories. During closure period, the team has taken the opportunity to upgrade these fields and therefore raising the adrenaline-pumping atmosphere of a real-life battlefield.

The Xstrike team is excited to welcome back all players to enjoy the uniquely created missions and is offering a free scope upgrade for the first 100 players to test out their stealth skills and immerse themselves in an unforgettable experience. The team is also introducing customised gloves, complimentary with every session, to help players get a better grip of the weapons as they play.

Xstrike utilises weapons systems and software from iCombat, a US based industry leader in live-action combat simulation experiences. Each player and teams’ performance throughout the game and after can easily be tracked and showcased on a leaderboard screen with a detailed set of statistics using cloud-based server ‘Barracks’. Players can also access statistics against fellow comrades worldwide, which contains more than 500,000 users across more than 65 countries.

Prices start from AED89 ($24.2). - TradeArabia News Service
