$270m Saudi aid to Yemen

Saudi Arabia will provide a SR1 billion ($ 270 million) aid to Yemen under treaties signed by the two countries recently.

 

The bilateral agreements, signed during a meeting of the Saudi-Yemen Coordination Council, also provides for the building of a border fence, a report said.

Saudi Arabia emphasised that the security of Yemen is an integral part of the kingdom’s security.

 

Yemen’s security is an integral part of the kingdom’s security. We suffered much from painful events in Sadah province,” said Crown Prince Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defence and Aviation and Inspector General and head of the Saudi side to Saudi-Yemeni Coordination Council.
