Sheraton names new executive chef

Josef Gschwandtner has joined Sheraton Doha Resort & Convention Hotel as the new executive chef.

Josef, an Austrian national of Australian roots, possesses more than 25 years of culinary experience from up-market International Michelin Star Restaurants to 5 Star Hotels and Resorts.

The new Executive Chef of Sheraton Doha has earned a reputation of producing concoctions of international standards, which are sought-after by hotel patrons and loyal customers.

As a recipient of numerous awards, citations, and recognitions, Chef Josef has been trained and certified by recognized culinary institution and hotel chains. Aside from being a kitchen expert, the well-rounded Chef Josef also specializes in F&B management and operations. A certified HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) expert, Chef Josef is fully-equipped with techniques for preventing microbiological, chemical and physical contamination along the food supply chain.
