Top Swiss confectionery opens Dubai base

Dubai, August 13, 2008

Sprungli, creators of some of the finest premium-quality Swiss chocolates, has opened its Middle East headquarters at Dubai Airport Free Zone (DAFZ).

“We are extremely pleased to be in Dubai, and are looking forward to expanding within the GCC,” said Ester Crameri, managing director of Sprungli Middle East.

“We hope to introduce and sell Sprüngli products to discerning customers and companies that are accustomed to the highest quality and who enjoy ‘the finer things in life’.

The Sprungli clientele is certainly very discerning and they know exactly what they want. We are particularly interested in companies looking to spoil their clients with an extra special gift,” she added.

“The location of the Dubai Airport Free Zone within the Dubai Airport is crucial to the decision of Sprungli to open at the Free Zone as a complement to their time sensitive business,’ said Ibrahim Ahli, director of marketing, DAFZ.

“Our services and facilities are designed to make it easy for multinational companies to do business and reach consumers in the region with minimum hassle,” he said.
