Axis unveils new surveillance cameras at expo

Axis Communications, a leader in the network video market, introduced their new generation of outdoor ready HDTV technology, full-featured thermal network cameras and IP-based mobile video surveillance solution at the ongoing Intersec 2010.

Marking its fourth presence at the Middle East’s largest security trade fair and conference, Axis Communications revealed its latest extensive product portfolio of HDTV cameras utilising the H.264 compression techniques standard, on a 54 sqm stand, specifically developed to showcase the network cameras ranging from the smallest and smartest wireless cameras, to day and night cameras capable of delivering exceptional image detail.

Axis is exhibiting at Intersec 2010 from January 17 to 19, and is participating at the Intersec Forum for Commercial Security on January 18.

Marketing director for Axis Communications Emea, Dominic Bruning is a guest speaker where leading experts are discussing the latest issues and trends in the industries. Bruning is presenting technology drivers in network video, and giving participants an insight into the future growth of the Middle East’s security industry and the drivers behind this growing demand.

“This launch provides our customers with cost-efficient, easy-to-install network cameras for professional installations and will promote safety and security in critical areas such as public places, industries, railways, ports and roads,” said Baraa Al Akkad, regional manager, Axis Communications Middle East.

Axis has also announced a new series of outdoor-ready, high-performance fixed network cameras that save installation time and costs. The IP66-rated outdoor-ready cameras have protection against dust, rain, snow and sun. The cameras are powered by Power over Ethernet for easy installation.-TradeArabia News Service
