Weber Shandwick Mena wins top honours

Dubai, June 13, 2010

Weber Shandwick Mena has won a prestigious Emea Superior Achievement in Branding and Reputation (Sabre) Award for best practice in communications for its work with The Boeing Company.

The PR agency was awarded a Sabre for best practice in the Trade Shows category for providing communications support to The Boeing Company at the 2009 Dubai Air Show.

The Emea Sabre Awards, instituted by the Holmes Group, are one of the most prestigious international accolades for the region’s public relations industry. This is the second consecutive year that Weber Shandwick Mena has won a Sabre, making it the only Middle East public relations consultancy to do so.

“Winning a Sabre award for a second time in a row is a fantastic endorsement of the work we do and our approach to communications,” said Ziad Hasbani, regional managing director, Weber Shandwick Mena.

In addition to this award, the Weber Shandwick network in Emea also won a number of other awards, which included five Sabres, and two Bronze and Iron Sabres.-TradeArabia News Service
