Forum to focus on innovations in cleaning technology

Dubai, August 22, 2010

The First Middle East Cleaning Forum will be held alongside Clean 2010 and will bring together leading global experts and brands from 12 countries to Dubai.

Clean 2010, organised by Reed Exhibitions Middle East, is scheduled to take place at the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre from September 26 to 28.

The two-day forum will see attendance from leading companies in facilities management, air management and control, pest control, cleaning product manufacturing and laundry and hygiene, among others.

The exhibition, Clean 2010, aims to deliver a cohesive platform for business and knowledge-share for the global cleaning industry. The conference will also have dedicated components for environmental research, cleaning quality standards maintenance, pest control, waste management, and hygiene in retail foods.

“This is the first time a dedicated forum is being organised in a cohesive approach to the cleaning industry within the region and as the leading exhibitions management firm from the region, we thought it was our prerogative to introduce this insightful component to our Clean event,” said Tarek Ali, show manager of Clean 2010. “As direct and indirect consumers of cleaning equipment and technology, we are all stakeholders in the global cleaning industry.”

Participants at the forum include Dubai Municipality, Netherlands-based Diversey, UAE-based VSRODDA, Germany-based Kannegiesser, as well as representatives from British Cleaning Council, UK. The World Association of producers of detergents, soap products and maintenance, based in Brussels, Belgium, will be presenting new innovations related sustainability in the cleaning industry at the exhibition.

“Clean 2010 itself continues to serve as a prime opportunity to launch products and technologies to a visitor audience comprising nearly 6000 professionals and buyers from the regional cleaning industry and beyond,” added Ali.

A key component at this year’s Clean event is the exhibitor’s zone on the event website (www.cleantechme.com) which allows the upload of the latest news from participants, as well as obtaining relevant important information to help visitors from the region to get more insights about the show's offerings.
