Smart Technologies has launched two collaboration systems for business, fully integrated solutions designed to enhance collaboration in interactive meeting spaces.

The systems include one with the Smart Board 885ix interactive whiteboard system and the other with the Smart Board 8070i interactive display.

Both systems ship with Smart Meeting Pro 2.2 software and the SMART GoWire auto-launch cable, which also comes with Smart Meeting Pro software, the company said.

Both the Smart Board 885ix interactive whiteboard system and the Smart Board 8070i interactive display support common multi-touch gestures currently recognised in the Microsoft Windows 7 operating system.

Using SMART’s patented DViT (Digital Vision Touch) technology, the interactive whiteboard system and the interactive display deliver an exceptional multitouch, multiuser writing experience, enabling two users to create and interact with digital content simultaneously, it said.

The 885ix and 8070i also offer object awareness, a feature that provides an intuitive experience and enables users to interact with digital content using their fingers, pens, fists or erasers interchangeably.
