Diyar Al Muharraq backs Bahrain sports club

Diyar Al Muharraq, one of Bahrain’s biggest mixed-use residential developments, has renewed its sponsorship of the Samaheej Sports Club for the year 2011, in its efforts to encourage games and sporting events in the kingdom.
Diyar Al Muharraq has previously supported the Samaheej Club in 2009 and 2010 in its activities as well as in an awareness campaign for the protection of the ozone layer.
“We have extended our support to many sporting clubs in the belief that sports encourages healthy competition and motivates young people to improve their skills and develop active bodies and minds,” stated Aaref Hejres, chief executive of Diyar Al Muharraq.-TradeArabia News Service
