Manama, September 19, 2011

Bahrain-based 4Spots, a leading interactive agency and online communication solutions provider, recently won the Web Marketing Association (WMA) excellence awards for the websites designed by the company.

4Spots received the “Outstanding Website Award” for Entertainment City Qatar (ecqat.com), the “Standard of Excellence” award for Majaal (majaal.com), 4Spots website (4spots.com) and Bahrain Islamic Bank (bisb.com).

The Web Marketing Association was founded in 1997 to help set a high standard for Internet marketing and development of the best websites on the World Wide Web.

Now in its 15th year, the WebAward programme is the premier annual website award competition that names the best Web sites in 96 industries from 45 countries.

"As an interactive agency, we've always strived to be both innovative and creative and this year, winning the prestigious WMA award for four websites has helped us not only place ourselves in line with some top notch interactive agencies from Europe and US but also placing the region and especially Bahrain on the interactive media map,” says Srusti Ranjan, co-founder of 4Spots.

“This year has been exciting with the nomination for the World Summit Award and winning the Pan Arab Web Award, the Bahrain eContent award, Arab eContent Award, the Pan Arab Banking Award and now the WMA Web Awards,” he added.

As an interactive agency, 4Spots offers fresh, creative strategies within the new media realm, be it websites or web apps, apps for mobile devices such as the iPhone/iPad, Blackberry or Android, social media campaigns, interactive solutions for touchscreens and kiosks or just unique ways virally engaging a set target audience through games.

"As the only agency from the Middle East to wins 4 WMA Awards, we're ecstatic to see the results of our hard work pay off - not just with ROI for clients but also global recognition for the creative input!" said Paul Poulose, the business development director for 4Spots.

“Moving forward, with a strong growth in the region for interactive media, especially within Social Media and Mobile Apps, we’ve decided to focus on R&D to bring in new ideas, creative applications on Facebook, and mobile devices such as the iPhone/iPad” he added. – TradeArabia News Service
