Sharjah to launch top Canadian café brand

Sharjah Holding, a leading community focused real estate developer, will bring Tim Hortons, the iconic Canadian café and bake shop chain to the emirate for the first time in 2012.
Sharjah Holding, a strategic partnership between the Government of Sharjah and Majid Al Futtaim Properties, has unveiled plans to open two Tim Hortons restaurants at Matajer Al Juraina and Matajer Al Migab which will be delivered in the first half of 2012.
Anchored by a supermarket anchor and featuring a range of high quality retail, food and beverage brands as well as services, the Matajer concept has been developed to bring the design, quality and ambiance that consumers have come to expect from larger format Majid Al Futtaim shopping malls to local communities.
Sharjah Holding delivered its first Matajer centre in the Al Quoz district of Sharjah in September 2011, and will open three more centres in the first half of 2012, which are already 80 per cent pre-leased.
