Leo Burnett Mena bags 56 awards

Leo Burnett Mena, the humankind agency whose insightful creative concepts have delivered great advertising to the world, has been recognised for its efforts at the 7th Annual Mena Cristal Festival, bagging a total of 56 awards.

The event which brings together significant figures from the advertising, production and media worlds is also an engaging conference and networking platform for the communications industry, said a statement.

Leo Burnett Mena is a part of the global Leo Burnett Agency network, with offices in Dubai, Beirut, Cairo, Riyadh, Jeddah, Doha, Kuwait, Casablanca and Amman, Erbil and Suleimaniya, the statement said.

Overall, the Leo Burnett Mena network, which was named Network of the Year at the Cristal, was awarded seven grands prix, 17 gold, nine silver and 23 bronze; taking home a total of 56 awards.

Five different offices representing multinational, regional and local brands, contributed to the win, it said.

The Beirut office was named Agency of the Year, and awarded five grands prix (including the Advertisers’ Grand Prix) 10 gold, two silver and 11 bronze. The Dubai office was ranked third, and Leo Burnett Cairo claimed the fourth spot amongst the best agencies in the region.

“This comes as a result of a commitment made by the people at Leo Burnett Mena, who put their best creative efforts in their regular work, on regular briefs, integrating their ideas and innovating the channels, in order to better engage with the people who live, feel and think, in Beirut, in Dubai, in Cairo, in Doha and in Saudi Arabia,” said CCO of Leo Burnett Mena, Bechara Mouzannar.

“The fact that we won awards in most of the categories, from six different juries, winning seven Grands Prix (out of the eight awarded) reassures us of our creative strategy,” he concluded. – TradeArabia News Service
