
Bahrain King opens new Air Force HQ
Manama, July 9, 2012
His Majesty King Hamad, the Supreme Commander of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), yesterday opened new headquarters of the Bahrain Royal Air Force.
He was welcomed at the Shaikh Isa Airbase by BDF commander-in-chief Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, the air force chief and other officers who briefed him on plans to develop the force.
He expressed his keenness to enhance the aviation system, praising personnel for their competence, high morale and preparedness to defend the country.
He also hailed co-operation between BDF and GCC and friendly countries' forces and wished pilots and technicians success in promoting national development and prosperity. – TradeArabia News Service
