Saudi makes address registeration compulsory

Saudi Arabia has made it mandatory for all individuals and companies in the Kingdom to register their local addresses with the Civil Affairs Department or Saudi Post, said a report.
The cabinet passed a law activating articles related to residency and work addresses in the Civil Status Law, Commercial Registration Law, and Residency Law, reported the Arab News.
The cabinet also instructed them to inform the two entities about the changes in addresses within six months. Those who fail to provide their local addresses will face strict punishment, it added.
