Bahrain deports over 2,000 illegal workers

Manama, July 2, 2013

Bahrain has deported a total of 2,207 illegal workers during the past three months in a crackdown launched by the Nationality, Passport and Residence Affairs and the Labour Market Regulatory Authority.

Interior Ministry Under-Secretary for exits, search and follow-up Brigadier-General Yusuf Ahmed Al Ghatam said that 4,137 foreigners had been deported over the past six months, reported the Gulf Daily News, our sister publication. – TradeArabia News Service
