Bahrain ranks high in care for expats

Bahrain is one of the leading countries in the world for providing best care for expatriates and their children, a report said.

China and Thailand are also rated among the best countries in this regard followed by small and rich countries like Switzerland, Cayman Islands and Singapore, according to the study conducted recently by HSBC Bank and published in Washington Post yesterday (November 6) revealed.

The study pointed out that laws concerning expatriates in the Middle East differ from one country to another.

However, Bahrain is an exception as its government seeks to attract wealthy foreign investors to boost the economy, said a report in the Gulf Daily News, our sister publication.

Concerning the quality of life, according to the survey conducted on 7,004 expatriates in 37 countries, Bahrain ranked second after Thailand, outclassing Cayman Islands, Australia, India and Spain. – TradeArabia News Service
