Diamond to launch UK café brand in UAE

Diamond Lifestyle, one of the newest additions to the Middle East’s lifestyle hospitality sector, has announced the acquisition of the UK based Café Rouge franchise in the UAE.
“Café Rouge is a brand that embodies our vision of bringing exceptional casual fine dining to the Emirates,” said Shailesh Dash, chairman of Diamond Lifestyle.
“We are proud to introduce another concept to our growing portfolio, one that exemplifies effortless, playful, stylish and above all French dining. Café Rouge has been the UK’s favourite French bistro for over 20 years. It is the UK’s only national French restaurant brand, with sites designed to capture the essence of French dining, and a menu which includes French favourites such as steak frites and tarte tatin, a statement said.
Run by the Tragus Group, largest operator of some of the UK’s favourite restaurant brands, Café Rouge is currently operational at 126 sites in the UK with consistent brand style and values showcased at each cafe.
