PepsiCo-Jordan renews deal with workers

PepsiCo-Jordan said it has renewed its partnership agreement with the General Union for Workers in Food Industry, in line with its ongoing efforts to improve the living standards of its employees.

The agreement was signed by general manager Nidal Hamam, the human resources director Hawar Hijazy, and personnel & payroll manager Ahmad Naim on behalf of PepsiCo-Jordan, along with the General Union for Workers in Food Industry president Ahmad Abu Khadra.

As part of the agreement, employees will receive salary raises in recognition of their dedicated efforts towards enhancing PepsiCo-Jordan’s work conditions and productivity levels, said the company.

“At PepsiCo-Jordan, we firmly believe that our employees are the cornerstone of the company’s achievements and pioneering market standing. As such, we are excited to renew this longstanding partnership with the union, under which various agreements geared towards bettering our employees’ work and living conditions have been inked,” stated Hamam.  

Lauding the agreement renewal, Abu Khadra said, “Over the years, PepsiCo-Jordan has served as a model example in terms of supporting and bettering the lives of its employees. This approach has strengthened their loyalty and sense of belonging to the Company, subsequently enabling PepsiCo-Jordan to further cement its leading position within the local market.”-TradeArabia News Service
