Students escape fire bomb attack in Bahrain

Many students escaped unhurt when a gang of saboteurs launched a Molotov cocktail attack on a schoolbus in Bahrain today, the Ministry of Interior was quoted as saying by BNA.

A car was also torched in Isa Khabeer road in Manama. No one was hurt.

Many acts of sabotage in villages around the kingdom were reported, the Ministry of Interior said in its Twitter account.

The ministry said policemen tackled a gang which launched Molotov cocktail bombs onto the schoolbus. The police were able to ensure the safety of students on board who had to be evacuated from the bus before fire erupted in the bus, it said.

There were some incidents of burning of tyres, blocking of roads and attempts at preventing people from going to work and the law enforcement forces tackled gangs of saboteurs and was able to re-open the roads, the ministry said.
