Rosette, Swiss firm in FMCG tie-up

Kuwait-based conglomerate Rosette Group and GOExport, a Swiss export and import company, have partnered to exchange international experience to achieve a high level of fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) business services in the region.

The partnership agreement was announced at an event held at Armani Hotel in Burj Khalifa in Dubai in conjunction with Gulfood 2014, the world’s biggest food and hospitality show, with the presence of Rosette Group CEO Abdulaziz Al-Anjeri and GOExport directors Rossano Cabrino and Paolo Tossi.

“We had looked forward to this global partnership with GoExport. There’s much to gain in terms of access to international standards of quality, techniques and expertise in FMCG,” said Al-Anjeri.
Cabrino said: “We are looking forward to working with Rosette Group. They are bringing in their financial expertise and Middle East distribution knowledge. We shall be breaking new grounds in the Middle East soon. Working closely together and integrating our core competencies, we can reach great profits.”

Commenting on the significance of such a collaboration, Dr Mustafa Behbehani, chairman of the Kuwaiti Gulf Group explained: “This is one of the most exciting developments in Gulfood 2014. When big organizations acknowledge their need for each other to achieve greater things, we are bound to see synergy in full action.  Rosette Group and GoExport bring to the table distinct strengths and common goals. We can only expect to hear great news down the line.”
