Iran ‘in new bid to back Yemeni rebels’

MANAMA, September 26, 2015

Iran allegedly supplied counterfeit currency worth more than $8 billion to Yemeni rebels to fund their coup against President Abd-rabbo Mansour Hadi.

Iran is considered to be the main country supporting the Houthis who have caused the deaths of thousands of Yemenis during the fighting before and after the coup, reports our sister publication Akhbar Al Khaleej.
