Crackdown on illegal animal trade in Bahrain

MANAMA, October 21, 2015

A special committee has been formed to crack down on the illegal trade of wildlife and livestock in Bahrain. Undercover inspections have started with the Isa Town Traditional Market, which is notorious for selling exotic birds, smuggled animals and endangered species, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
