Projects shelved in Bahrain to cut spending

MANAMA, January 21, 2016

Public projects worth millions of dinars in Bahrain’s Capital Governorate have been shelved in an attempt to cut government spending. Members of the Capital Trustees Board said the projects, which include public parks and walkways, were unnecessary especially at a time when the country was facing financial difficulties due to slumping oil prices, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
