The UAE has surpassed countries across the world to be named the ‘healthiest’ location where UberEATS operates, according to a global poll conducted by the leading on-demand food delivery service powered by Uber.

The results show that an encouraging 20 per cent of all orders from UberEATS in the UAE, and more specifically in Dubai where UberEATS is available, were made from healthy restaurants, with the healthiest neighbourhoods in town including Business Bay, DIFC and Downtown.

As a nod to the top food trend of 2017, poke bowls are the most in-demand healthy dish, available from Poke Poke, Circle Cafe, Cali-Poke and PokeArt on the popular food delivery application. Twenty-five per cent of all orders including salads, light stir fries and low calorie food bowls have been ordered from healthy and cafe restaurant categories, versus a modest 5-10 per cent of burger, pizza and other fast food options.

At the tap of a button, UberEATS offers a variety of local favourites and cuisines from hundreds of top outlets across the city, with short delivery times at around 30-minutes.
